The End...

OK, I think I've given Chronn-do ample time to post something on The Sopranos finale and he hasn't yet, so I'm gonna go ahead and post after waiting my turn...What did you think of the last episode? Personally, I really, really liked it. I think I've had that Journey song stuck in my head for the past week...That said, it should be noted that I'm not a big fan of nice, clean conclusions and this ending really worked for me. I like leaving it up to the viewer's own agency to determine what happens next...But, at the same time, I understand the complaints/criticisms about the ending. I know not many agree with me here, but maybe we can get a good thread going here...Did you see it? What did you think?

New Shirts...
As per Angela's request, here are some pics of my new shirts. You can click them to enlarge and get a better idea of what they look like. I managed to get the hologram one to come out with the new camera that my dad gave me (it's the fourth picture down). Also, I'm attaching a better shot of the new shoes I got...Which is your favorite?

BOOM!

Well, I finally did it. Today, I broke down and bought one of those 59-Fifty series official Yankees hats that they wear on the field. I see people wearing these things all the time here and I thought I'd better get myself one. So, I went down to this store, Dr. Jay's, and picked myself up one. What do you think? I also picked up some new shirts in the past few days, as I'm trying to update my wardrobe to make myself not stand out like a sore thumb here in New York with my (mostly) "Southern-looking" attire. I bought three Ecko Unlimited shirts: one that's green and has a big tank rolling towards the viewer on it, with hand grenades, AK-47s, soldiers, babes, and various other things radiating off of the tank, another is black and has the helmet from Full Metal Jacket on it, except it's all graffitoed up and has Sharpie markers stuck in it instead of ammunition and has "Art of War" scrawled onto it. The other Ecko shirt I got can't be photographed because - get this: it's a hologram. That's right, daddy! It's a holographic image of a scene of cops chasing a guy with their billy clubs, two Bentleys crashing together and is framed with babes in bikinis. I wore it for the first time yesterday and went down to the deli. The guy running the place FREAKED when he saw it! He said it was one of the coolest t-shirts he had ever seen; and he should know, 'cos he collects t-shirts, he said. Then, there's the shoes I got. These things are crazy...They're black slip-on sport loafers, with pink swirls and girls clad in bikinis lounging in martini glasses on them. What do you think of my new clothes?

For Jail...

Upon Jason's request, here's the scans of Renfroe M. Tyson's "Ruckus Man in the House of Throat Cutters"...(BTW: I think that yellow stain on the pages is where my abcess burst and dribbled all over the paperwork that was strewn about on my apartment's floor during finals week. That is to say, that's pus mixed with blood...).Friday, June 1, 2007
Ruckus Man in the House of Throat Cutters...
You won't believe this - at least I can't - but I was cleaning out my apartment today, only to find that some kid had stuffed his short story into an open pocket on my satchel. The story's called "Ruckus Man in the House of Throat Cutters" and is hand-written by one Renfroe M. Tyson. It's about this guy called "Ruckus Man" who is a "Millenium Crackhouse Kid" and is "pacified" by the "telescreen" all day long. I'm working on scanning an image of it for your viewing pleasure. Weird, no? Images soon come.
